Vintage Text started through a love of the transformative capacity of books. Sosuke Natsukawa's The Cat Who Saved Books was pivotal in starting up this online bookstore for vintage and second hand books. Natsukawa wrote, 'there are timeless stories, powerful enough to have survived through the ages,' and that is what we find in vintage stories. Another favourite was Genzaburo Yoshino's How Do You Live? which asks, 'what will you create?' And so Vintage Text was born - to create pathways for people to access books of wisdom and beauty.
