Refund policy

How it works

Vintage Text wants you to be exceptionally happy with your purchase. However, we understand that there may be exceptions if the product was not what you ordered.

Please keep in mind that Vintage Text is not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

Vintage Text offers refunds for:

  • A significantly damaged product. Please note that this does not include worn books, worn pages, marks on books or pages, or any damage listed in the product description. It also does not include damage incurred by the purchaser.
  • A product that was not what you ordered. For example, a different book was sent.


Requesting a refund:

  • In the first instance, email VintageText@outlook.com to explain why you would like a refund
  • Please provide images of the product to support your claim
  • Please include receipt and date of purchase
  • Vintage Text will aim to email you a response within 5 working days


If Vintage Text agrees that the claim aligns with the refund policy, the refund will be paid in the same way that the purchase was paid. For example, if it was paid with a particular credit card, the payment would go back to the same credit card. If it is not possible to procure the same credit card, the refund can be given as a Vintage Text gift card.

The refund must be requested within 2 weeks of the product being shipped.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Refund will be issued when the product arrives in original condition, with original packaging, at Vintage Text.

Vintage Text reserves the right to decline a refund if the claim does not align with the refund policy criteria.
